These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Editing.video concerning your access to and use of the Editing.video website, browser editor, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Editing.video for a business, school, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. In that case, “you” includes both you and the organization.

Editing.video provides browser-based tools for arranging, editing, processing, and exporting video projects. Core editing is designed to happen on your device. Some optional features may download models or assets, search third-party libraries, or use online service endpoints. Features and export capabilities can vary by browser, device, file format, and available system resources.

Editing.video currently lets you open the editor without a public account, subscription, or payment flow. These Terms do not promise that every current or future feature will always remain available or free. If we introduce a paid feature, we will show its price and applicable terms before you agree to a charge.

You must be legally permitted to use the service where you live. You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required by local law. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms and permit your use.

You retain the ownership rights you already have in your source media, projects, and exported videos.

• Editing.video does not acquire a license to your source media merely because your browser processes it locally.
• You are responsible for having the rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed for every video, image, recording, font, logo, track, or other item you use.
• You may use your exports for personal, educational, client, or commercial work, subject to applicable law and any rights or license conditions attached to third-party content.
• You are responsible for your content, the instructions you give the editor, and how you publish or distribute the result.

Editing.video may provide access to third-party services, libraries, links, models, fonts, sounds, or other materials. We do not own third-party content, and its availability does not mean that Editing.video endorses it or grants you additional rights to use it.

Sound results, including results from Freesound, may use Creative Commons or other licenses. Review the license shown for each item and satisfy any attribution, noncommercial-use, or other requirements before publishing. Search filters and labels are provided for convenience and are not legal advice or a guarantee that a particular use is permitted.

Third-party services may change, become unavailable, or be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those services is subject to the terms that apply to them.

You may not use Editing.video to:

• Break the law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or create or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
• Exploit, threaten, harass, defraud, or harm another person, or create or distribute malware or other harmful material.
• Probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, access controls, rate limits, or technical protections.
• Use bots, scraping, or automated traffic in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service or prevents others from using it.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, impersonate another person, or suggest that Editing.video sponsors or endorses your content without permission.

The service, interface, visual design, documentation, and technology are owned by or licensed to Editing.video and its contributors. Except for rights expressly granted by these Terms or an applicable open-source license, no rights are transferred to you.

Some Editing.video software is made available under open-source licenses. Those licenses govern the code and components they cover and take priority if they conflict with these Terms.

The Editing.video name, logo, and distinctive brand assets may not be used in a way that implies endorsement, confuses users, or violates applicable trademark law.

If you voluntarily send product ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow Editing.video to use them to operate, improve, and develop the service without payment or obligation to you. This permission does not transfer ownership of your source media or exported work. Do not include confidential information in feedback.

Our Privacy Policy explains how the service handles local project data, technical requests, analytics, feedback, and support communications. It is part of the information you should review when deciding whether to use Editing.video.

Projects and imported media may be stored in browser-managed storage on your device. Clearing site data, using private browsing, removing or resetting the browser, storage pressure, device failure, or software errors may remove that data. Because Editing.video does not keep a cloud project copy, we generally cannot recover a lost local project.

Export finished videos and keep independent copies of source media and important work.

We may maintain, update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features for valid operational, security, legal, or product reasons. We do not guarantee that the service or a particular feature will be available at every time, in every location, or on every device.

When reasonably practical, we will give advance notice of a material change that negatively affects users. Changes will not create a charge or materially reduce an existing paid entitlement without the notice and choices required by applicable law.

Editing.video is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every media format or device, or that third-party search results and metadata will always be complete or accurate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Editing.video is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the service, or for losses caused by third-party services, unsupported devices or formats, or events outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for local project loss caused by clearing browser data, private-browsing behavior, device loss or failure, or your failure to keep a backup, except to the extent the loss was caused by our failure to use reasonable care or another responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

These Terms do not limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may stop using Editing.video at any time. You can remove locally stored projects through the editor or your browser settings, subject to your browser’s behavior.

We may restrict access to online portions of the service when reasonably necessary to address a serious Terms violation, security risk, abusive traffic, legal requirement, or risk of harm. Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will provide notice and a way to contact us about the decision.

If a concern arises, contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it directly. The law and courts that have jurisdiction under applicable conflict-of-law and consumer-protection rules will govern these Terms and any dispute.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim in a court or forum available to you under the law where you live.

If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent legally possible. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

We may update these Terms for valid legal, security, operational, or product reasons. We will post the updated version here, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice of material changes when appropriate. Changes apply prospectively. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the service after they take effect.
